Panasonic Eco Solutions Energy Management Europe (PESEMEU) is very pleased to announce the launch of its newest product innovation, the HIT Black Back Sheet solar module. This black panel allows for a greater design variety and is an aesthetic but powerful alternative to conventional modules, which should please house-owners, planners and installers all over Europe. The modules are fully approved by TUV and MCS certificates, and have been available from this month. The black back sheet allows house owners to benefit from multiple advantages: A pleasing design: not only the cells and back sheet, but also the frames are full black. This guarantees a uniform appearance for every roof. A high efficiency: With a module efficiency of 18.6 % (with a cell conversion efficiency of 21.1%), the N235B and N230B range on the highest level in efficiency among black back sheet modules in the market. Anti-reflection glass helps increase the energy absorption, while the three-tabs design has been translated into a full black appearance. This enlarges the effective area, to capture more sunlight and to reduce electrical loss in the cell fingers. An excellent yield: By investing in HIT black-back sheet modules N235B and N230B, house owners can maximize their energy yield due to the panels' high temperature Pmax coefficient of 0.3 %/oC. Even at high temperatures, the HIT solar cell can maintain higher efficiency than a conventional crystalline silicon solar cell. This is particularly relevant in all-black modules, where heat absorption is greater. The HIT black-back sheet modules minimise that effect, achieving a top-level temperature performance. Hence they are also suitable for regions with high temperatures. The HIT (Heterojunction with Intrinsic Thin layer) solar cell is made of a thin monocrystalline silicon wafer surrounded by ultra-thin amorphous silicon layers. This product provides the industry's leading performance and value using state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques. As well as having high efficiency, HIT modules are also renowned for their unparalleled reliability - being the only PV manufacturer to publish their guarantee claims, Panasonic is proud to state an incredibly low 0.0023 % out of 3,121,519 solar modules produced in their European factory in Dorog, Hungary (as of April 2012). Panasonic Eco Solutions Energy Management Europe domain company provides comprehensive solutions for both households and businesses, to promote lifestyles with virtually zero CO2 emissions throughout the world. As Panasonic is aiming to become the No. 1 Green Energy Company in the Electronics Industry by 2018, the company is moving towards providing the means for clean, sustainable energy.
