Detroit Edison and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan have announced the signing of a 20-year agreement that will provide BCBSM and the utility's customers with renewable energy generated from the sun. The 200-kilowatt, $1 million photovoltaic system will be installed on the roof of a BCBSM four-story parking structure at the corner of Congress and Beaubien in downtown Detroit.
