Trojan Battery has provided deep-cycle AGM batteries to support a solar-powered village in the Democratic Republic of the Congo called the City of Joy. The City of Joy, located in city of Bukavu in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, was established in 2012 as a refuge for female survivors of sexual violence perpetrated during the recent decades of war in the region.
