Better IP Video Technology Options For Traffic Management

Matrox Graphics and ATEME have announced the successful integration of support for ATEME video encoders with Matrox Streaming Media Decoder (SMD), part of the Matrox Display Wall Controller family of products.

"At Matrox, we recognize ATEME as a key international provider of video solutions and services," comments Alain Thiffault, Business Development Manager, Matrox Graphics.

"Working with them provides a strategic advantage as we develop new products for the security and surveillance industries."

Matrox Graphics has a long history of designing solutions for control rooms, traffic management, and large-scale visualization across display walls; combining best-of-breed graphics and media streaming products together for mission critical applications.

ATEME is a world-leading provider of MPEG-4 AVC / H.264 video compression solutions.

Beijing authorities have decided against restrictions on private car sales proposed by residents to help ease traffic and pollution, a senior official was quoted by state media as saying Wednesday.
