Beijing (AFP) May 13, 2008 The following is a detailed list of locations in China where tens of thousands have been reported killed, missing or trapped under rubble since Monday's devastating earthquake in the southwest: SICHUAN PROVINCE -- Nearly 9,000 people have been confirmed dead, but China's official media have reported many more buried or missing. It is also not clear what figures from the following areas in Sichuan have been included in the official death toll. Mianzhu city: At least 10,000 reportedly buried under rubble Beichuan county: Up to 5,000 killed, including at least 1,000 students and teachers killed or buried when a middle school collapsed; 80 percent of buildings destroyed Hanwang city: Thousands reported killed or buried after factory collapse Dujiangyan city: Hundreds feared dead in school collapse Aba prefecture: Thirty-seven tourists killed in buried coach; some 2,000 tourists including 15 Britons out of contact (The epicentre struck in Wenchuan county, which lies within Aba prefecture. Wenchuan has a population of 112,000 but little news has emerged from there.)
