CENTROSOLAR Expands To Canada

The 'boom' in Canada's renewable energy market has been fueled by the Feed in Tariffs (FIT) program established when the Ontario Government passed the Green Energy and Green Economy Act in 2009. The FIT Program, the single largest climate change initiative in North America, is a guaranteed funding structure that combines stable, competitive prices and long-term contracts for energy generated using renewable resources.

Building on its strong presence in European and US solar markets, CENTROSOLAR Group has announced the opening of CENTROSOLAR Canada, establishing an increased commitment to the Canadian photovoltaics market.

With its corporate office, sales team and warehousing facility in Markham, Ontario, CENTROSOLAR Canada now offers German engineered photovoltaic rooftop systems to Canadian installers; including modules, inverters and racking components as well as complete prepackaged photovoltaic systems.

CENTROSOLAR, recognized as a pioneering, global leader in rooftop photovoltaic technology and products, has recently introduced the German-engineered and manufactured C-Series PV Modules and its latest CentroPack, the 'out-of-the-box' PV system for installers across North America. CENTROSOLAR modules are installed on thousands of homes in Europe.

CENTROSOLAR's successful training program - CENTROSCHOOL - will now be available in Canada as well, for solar integrators as well as skilled trades such as electrical, HVAC, and roofing contractors, providing them with the added opportunity to take part in Canada's rapidly growing photovoltaic solar market.

"We are committed to bringing the very best array of solar energy products, services and training to installers across Canada - with an increasing share of Ontario-sourced content," noted CENTROSOLAR Canada CEO Deep Chakraborty.

"Our Ontario team now offers a one-stop shop for a complete roof-top PV system, enabling increased profitability for professionals already in the business of photovoltaic solar and make it less complicated for new installers to take part in the residential and commercial demand for PV solar technology in the Ontario region. Our commitment to the solar industry in Canada reflects our commitment around the world to the viability and growth of the renewable energy industry."

CENTROSOLAR Canada recently announced that the higher-than-expected third quarter revenues shown by its parent company support its commitment to long-term growth in Canada's solar market. With strong positions already established in Germany, Italy and France, CENTROSOLAR sees Canada, along with the US, Benelux and the UK, as key to future growth.
