Government service provider Engility Holdings is to conduct classified engineering and intelligence support work for the U.S. Department of Defense.

The sole-source renewal contract is worth $82 million and will be performed on a cost-plus-fixed-fee basis. The term of the award is five years.

Engility Holdings said that in addition to systems engineering expertise, intel analysis and program management, work under the contract will also involve records management support, logistical expertise, security administration support, financial analysis, technical analysis on a variety of domains, and geographic information systems support and data management.

"We have been a trusted partner to this customer for several decades and are very proud to receive this award," said Engility President and Chief Executive Officer Tony Smeraglinolo. "The men and women who work on this program provide a range of duties that are enabling our customer to perform its vital mission on behalf of our country."
