He has set himself seven days of running in the course of six or seven weeks. The idea is both simple and original: by running a certain route through Berlin letters will appear to form words and finally a whole sentence.

To keep up the suspense until the very end he will not run the words in the right order, so that web users can try to fill in the gaps. His challenge began on a rainy May 1st this year. Will he be able to run his sentence and to keep his self-imposed deadline?

The "XT Wings Challenge" or how to combine creativity and sports challenges
The young German is not the only blogger who set himself an unusual task: this wave of creative and offbeat challenges was sparked by a competition organised by the brand Salomon, in cooperation with Nokia, for the launch of its new running shoes XT Wings.

Every month the participant who suggested the most interesting challenge is equipped with a Nokia NSeries and a pair of XT Wings to master his task. Visitors can follow his or her running progress on the website through the "Nokia Sports Tracker" tracking system which allows for sharing the difficulties during the challenge.

Web users can now follow the German blogger Andreas and try to guess what he is writing.

"The idea for this challenge and the partnership with Nokia came because we wanted to provide users with a complementary service when they buy their shoes. We wanted to give them the possibility to find the best running routes worldwide and to measure their performance through the Nokia mobile's GPS applications," explains Salomon Online Marketing Manager Benjamin Aidan.

International bloggers are invited to exclusively master their challenges before the official launch

Over 20 British, French, German and American bloggers were invited to exclusively post their own challenges in advance on the website

Both proficient trail runners and amateur sportsmen set themselves original sportive challenges.

To make it easier for them to rise to their challenges each of them received a BuzzKit containing a pair of XT Wings and a Nokia NSeries from BuzzParadise agency. The bloggers have already published their first reactions in about 20 articles underlining the quality of the Salomon shoes.

For the launch of its new running shoes Salomon invites everyone to be inventive and offers web users a challenge that is both sportive and fun.
