Haigh-Farr will demonstrate its full range of antenna products at booth 402 at the DATT (Defense and Aerospace, Test and Telemetry) Summit 2016.

DATT Summit 2016 is the new convention and trade show bringing together the telemetry and test/measurement engineering community, which services the defense and commercial aerospace industries.

DATT Summit's goal is to expand the design engineer's current paradigms to look outside their current workspace and incorporate ideas from multiple communities within the test, measurement and telemetry marketplaces.

Haigh-Farr, a founding sponsor at the event, will showcase a range of applicable antenna products throughout the show. Its products include flight termination, GNSS, telemetry, datalinks, radar altimeter, TDRSS, Inmarsat and Iridium solutions.

In addition, CEO David Farr is participating in the show's professional development courses, being held on Monday, April 25. The session, entitled Antenna Considerations for the Application of Antennas on High Performance Airborne Vehicles and Transitioning to C-Band for Telemetry, will serve as an introduction to antenna theory and concepts, including an overview of commonly used industry terms.

Antenna considerations for high performance airborne vehicles will also be addressed, talking to the type of project and why a specific antenna would be the right choice given a range of variables and conditions. The transition to C-Band will be discussed for telemetry and airborne antenna considerations.
