Handi-Hut offers low cost Solar Powered Outdoor Shelter Light Kit
by Staff Writers
Clifton NJ (SPX) May 15, 2014

Illustration only

Handi-Hut is introducing a unique solar light kit that provides nighttime safety for passengers waiting in shelters for buses or trains that up to now has been virtually non-affordable.

The ultra-compact (8" x 19") solar panel provides dusk to dawn operation of up to 36 hours, or 3 nights of light with its quick charge lithium battery pack built into the solar panel. Each 24" light fixture is waterproof, has 48 super bright LED's and a protective cover.

The universal mounting bracket can retrofit transit shelters in minutes with its quick-connect wiring and only 8 screws.

The solar light kit can also attach to bike parking shelters produced by its sister company Velodome Shelters, also located in Clifton.

In a compact package only 25" x 13" x 3", the solar light kit can ship UPS.

Surprisingly inexpensive, Handi-Hut is offering its solar light kit for an introductory price of $495. An additional free kit is included when three kits or more are ordered.
