NextPlat Corp (NASDAQ: NXPL, NXPLW) reports that its US-based division, Outfitter Satellite Inc., has been awarded a three-year service contract by a US state government. This agreement focuses on delivering satellite-enabled services to support critical government operations.

As part of the contract, Outfitter Satellite will provide satellite airtime service plans and hardware to facilitate reliable voice and data connectivity for government personnel. These services are essential for employees working in remote areas, during off-site assignments, or in response to natural disasters. The agreement includes an initial three-year term, with an option to extend for up to two additional years.

David Phipps, President of NextPlat and CEO of Global Operations, as well as President of Outfitter Satellite, highlighted the division's performance: "Outfitter Satellite continues to play a vital role in driving our domestic growth, particularly in high-margin recurring service. We are pleased with the performance of the Outfitter team as they continue to grow and expand their customer base driven by their expertise and dedication to superior customer service and support."

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Outfitter Satellite has over 20 years of experience providing advanced satellite connectivity solutions to consumers, businesses, and government entities. Since its acquisition by NextPlat in April 2024, Outfitter has enhanced its operations, generating substantial recurring airtime revenue from North America while complementing NextPlat's global e-commerce operations in regions including Europe, South America, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
