Los Angeles CA (SPX) Jun 17, 2024

Ovzon has announced the launch of two new mobile satellite terminals, the Ovzon P20 and Ovzon P30. These ruggedized parabolic broadband terminals are designed for use in land, maritime, and airborne applications.

The new terminals were developed with a focus on performance, mobility, and resiliency. They offer a variety of integration options, enhancing Ovzon's SATCOM-as-a-Service offerings. Customers requested solutions that maintained high performance and resiliency while reducing overall lifecycle costs.

The Ovzon P30 terminal provides the same capabilities as Ovzon's existing mobile satellite terminals but with a smaller footprint. The Ovzon P20 offers superior performance and mobility with an extremely lightweight form, making it suitable for unmanned systems and ISR platforms.

Both terminals are compatible with Ovzon's SATCOM-as-a-Service solutions, including Ovzon Hero and Ovzon Pegasus. Future updates will support the Ovzon Orion services delivered by Ovzon 3 and the Ovzon On-Board-Processor. Features such as autonomous operation, VL-SNR, and true-mesh will be similar to those of the Ovzon T7 On-The-Pause terminal.

Ovzon delivers world leading SATCOM-as-a-Service for customers critical missions. Ovzon's solutions are focused on delivering the highest performance, mobility, and resiliency. We consistently strive to stay ahead of customer demand by developing our own and working with our partners on cutting-edge technology innovations. The Ovzon P30 and Ovzon P20 mobile satellite terminals are yet another example of how our product and services portfolio is constantly evolving to deliver smarter capabilities for land mobile, maritime, and airborne applications, says Per Noren, CEO of Ovzon.
