PROINSO has reached a deal to supply products with 310kWp output to six different solar projects located in the Gunma prefecture in Japan. Valors is the name of the customer who ordered the products from PROINSO in November.

They will go to six PV systems, 50kWp each, supplying electric power to residential and commercial premises. The inverters delivered by PROINSO were manufactured by SMA (Sunny Boy 4500TL-JP), a firm PROINSO is a major partner to and whose products it delivers worldwide.

The new deal was signed in the office PROINSO has in Tokyo, opened this year with the aim of entering the Japanese PV power industry.

According to PROINSO, this market totalled 10GW of installed PV capacity in late August 2013, and is expected to reach the 20 GW milestone by the end of 2016. It is worth mentioning that residential PV systems amount to 80% of the total installed capacity in Japan.

This scenario decided PROINSO to strengthen its presence in a country with so interesting growth prospects. Action carried out by the company along these lines was its participation in PV EXPO JAPAN and PV JAPAN 2013, held in Tokyo.

In both, PROINSO approached potential customers and installers. Also, it exhibited its PV-DIESEL hybrid systems ranging from 300kWA to 6MWA, 'which can save 66,000L diesel in 300kWA motors,' said company sources.

Finally, PROINSO presented its new PROINSO SOLAR CATALOGUE 2013-2014. Launched in June this year, the 440-page catalogue, which is available online in a downloadable file, contains updated information on more than 500 PV products from over 30 leading brands.

Besides Japan, PROINSO is present in the following markets: India, China, Southeast Asia and Australia.
