Renewable Energy Corporation (REC), a leading global manufacturer of solar modules, is rolling out its successful REC Solar Professional Program for installers in the US. Since its recent launch in March 2012, REC has already certified more than 300 installers in ten countries as REC Solar Professionals.

"With the REC Solar Professional Program, REC is equipping installers with the tools and know-how to stand out, increase their credibility and grow their businesses," said Jan-Jacob Boom-Wichers, Managing Director Americas, REC Solar US.

"We are excited to now offer this Program to solar installers in the US, and to help our installation partners offer their customers high-quality installations backed by excellent technical and safety expertise, and of course, with the assurance of REC's top performing solar modules."

In addition to training programs and exclusive seminars aimed to deepen their technical and industry knowledge, installers certified as REC Solar Professionals will benefit from an extended product workmanship warranty (an additional two years on top of the REC's standard 10-year warranty) and access to other sales and marketing tools that support their business success.

REC Solar Professionals will benefit from access to the exclusive online REC Solar Professional Portal, which is available 24 hours a day.

The REC Solar Professional Portal offers users the ability to the REC Flash Test database, online module registration, a library of training materials and many co-branded marketing tools.

REC will begin qualifying and certifying REC Solar Professional Installers immediately. "Our aim is to further support our customers out in the field, by providing comprehensive support," added Boom-Wichers.

"We look forward to welcoming many new partners to the program in the second half of this year."
