The Russian Federal Space Agency "Roscosmos" plans to launch five satellites from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in July. The launch of a "Soyuz" with five satellites is scheduled for July 22.

The previously proposed launch date in the first half of the year, was subsequently postponed until June 7. After that the blast-off was pushed to a later date of June 21.

However, the Kazakh authorities took a long time to coordinate the launch date due to lack of an interstate agreement on the booster disposal areas.

In mid-June, Prime Minister Karim Masimov after meeting with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev gave Russia permission to carry out launchings from Baikonur.
