USAF Special Material Decoys 30 Million Dollar Order

Alloy Surfaces was awarded a $30 Million Contact from the United States Air Force for MJU-50/B Infrared Special Material Decoys. This news comes the same week that Alloy Surfaces announced receiving the largest IDIQ contract to date. Alloy Surfaces received a five year IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity) contract from the United States Army with the maximum value of $347.9 Million.

The IDIQ has a minimum value of $5.4 Million. The Army immediately awarded the first order valued at $16.0 Million for M211 Decoys.

This latest award is for MJU-50/B Special Materials Decoys (SMD) which are used to protect various types of transport and fighter aircraft in the USAF.

All Special Material Decoys provide dramatically increased protection levels against current and the latest generation of IR missiles, commonly known as MANPADS.

"Alloy Surfaces fully understands the importance of these contracts for the Department of Defense" said John LaFemina President ASC "We recognize and appreciate the faith that the Services have in our products. Our Team here at ASC works extremely hard to insure the job is done right, knowing that our products protect the warfighter."
