SunPower Acquires Solarbridge Technologies

SunPower has announced that it had acquired PV microinverter manufacturer, SolarBridge Technologies. SunPower is the second largest US manufacturer of PV modules, and a major system developer. Its core product is a high efficiency mono-crystalline solar cell, which is used to create high power PV modules. SolarBridge Technologies is VC-funded PV microinverter manufacturer headquartered in Austin TX, United States.
